Have you ever heard of an event called world of wearable art?
A woman named Dame Suzie Moncrieff who, thirty years ago, created an event in New Zealand called the World of Wearable Art. It is held in Wellington and in other cities every year. Artists from around the world create outfits made entirely from recycled materials.
Would you wear wearable art? I would.

Let’s imagine that you were invited to this year’s WOW awards and you were able to interview the creator.
Let’s imagine that you were invited to this year’s WOW awards and you were able to interview the creator.
I am going to list five interview questions that I would ask Dame Suzie Moncrieff.
- How did you come up with the event?
- Have you created a wearable art before?
- Are you proud that you have created this event?
- what do you like about wearable art?
- what inspired you to make this event?
Did you like my questions?
Would you ask these questions?

Talofa Talisa,
ReplyDeleteYou have come up with some great questions to ask Dame Suzie Moncrieff. I like how you want to ask her about her inspirations and how she came up with the WOW event. I would definitely ask her these questions and I'm sure we will be able to find out a lot about her background and history.
Do you think you would ever want to become a designer? I love to create artwork but coming up with ideas for clothes is something I would struggle with. I wonder how much time she would take to design one piece of her clothing. What are your thoughts?
Looking forward to hearing back from you,
Susie
Hi Susie,
ReplyDeleteI don't want to become a designer because I think it takes a lot of technic with lots of hard work and I don't think I can do it. 😊
