Natures color light (SLJ)

Talofa mai Aotearoa

Hello from New Zealand

Do you like color lights? Imagine that in the sky but without the electricity to turn it on or off. New Zealand is fortunate to have one of nature's wonders which is known as the Southern Lights.

I am have written an acrostic poem about the southern lights using the word LIGHT. I used google drawing to present my poem. hope you like it

What do you think about my poem?

Have you seen southern lights in person before I never got to?

I hope you enjoy my poem.

Please leave a comment and like my blog, thank you.

  1. Kia ora Talisa,

I really enjoyed reading your acrostic poem about the Southern lights. Did you learn about these types of poems at school? When first letters spell out a particular word or phrase, it is called an acrostic poem. This means you can even use your name to write a poem! It would be a good way to practise.

I love the phrase 'dazzling night colours'. It was a beautiful way to end this poem. Would you like to see auroras in real life? It is for sure on my bucket list because I don't think I can believe this is real unless I see it with my own eyes. We live in such a magical world, don't you think so?

    Happy blogging,
    Susie

    1. Hello Susie,

Thank you for giving your time to read and comment on my blog. I did not learn about these types of poems at school. I did not know you can use your own name to write a poem. I would actually like to see the auroras in life. I also believe this is a magical world and we are lucky to live here.

      Take care
