Kia Ora and Welcome,
Have you ever been to the largest of all Asian countries, that has the largest population of any country in the world.
Did you guess which country I'm talking about? If you guess CHINA then you're correct.
Do you know anything about China?
I have read that they have smog in China. The air pollution is so bad that you sometimes won't be able to see properly because it looks like its foggy, and the air is so bad that people wear mask to protect themselves when they go out, because they can get really sick from breathing the air everyday.
If I were asked to travel to Beijing in China, I would be excited at first to travel but then I would feel scared because of the air pollution and what would happen to me because of it would I need to go to the hospital?
Here is a picture of Beijing
Bye bye hope to see you on my next blog post please leave a comment and like my blog.
Kia ora Talisa,
ReplyDeleteI can see that you have done your research on how serious the air pollution is in China. In fact, when the dust clouds leave China it can sometimes travel towards Japan and Korea. I am from Korea myself and I think I can answer your question - you won't need to go to the hospital straight away but we can't ignore the possible long-term effects.
Wearing masks when you go outside might be a good idea in countries with serious air pollution. It is all a sad story but I recently found out that China is in the process of fighting back with innovative (new) solutions. Hopefully they will come up with some creative ideas to reduce and slow down air pollution in the country.
I have a mission for you - If you could think about writing your thoughts and emotions in a poem, what would it look like? I look forward to hearing back from you :)
Talk soon,
Susie
Hi Susie,
ReplyDeleteI'm not really good at writing poems.
I think if I write a poem on air pollution I will need to let the reader know how we all need to work together to keep our air clean because Earth is our home planet and we all need clean air to breath.
Thank you for reading my blog.
From Talisa.
Mōrena Talisa,
DeleteThank you for replying to my comment. I like how you have emphasised (pointed out) the importance of working together to keep the Earth clean.
Were you able to find ways to keep the air clean? What can we do to slow down the process of air pollution?
Ka kite,
Susie :)
