Condor (SLJ)

 Namaste everyone,

Birds and bats are just two species of animal that are able to fly? Did you know that some fish, squirrels and snakes are also able to fly?
I went on a website called Top 10 Flying Animals of the World to learn more about these incredible animals.
I choose one animal and created a DLO that tells us all about the animal. I included three interesting facts and a picture or two of my animal. The animal I chose is called a condor.
Here is my DLO

Did you like my DLO?

Do you know anything about condors?

Goodbye please leave a comment down below see you om my next blog post.

  1. Kia ora Talisa,

I am super impressed with your presentation skills. I love how you have written down each fact next to the different images of the condor. It is great to see that you are using these images to illustrate your blog posts. Have you checked out the Explore tool? It helps you find photos that are labelled for reuse. Pixabay is also another amazing website with lots of photos you can use! You should have a go at using these online tools and make sure to double-check that there is 'no attribution required' for the images.

I did not know that California condors are the largest flying birds in North America! It would be pretty amazing to spot one in real life but we won't be able to come across them in NZ.

Are you a big fan of birds? Have you ever heard of the Netflix show called 'Planet Earth'? Its a nature documentary series and it is a perfect way to learn about living creatures. The quality is amazing and you get to see lots of close-up shots of animals from all around the world. You should check it out :)

Looking forward to reading more of your awesome blog posts!

    From Susie
