Something Smells Fishy (SLJ)

Hi Everyone, Hope you are all getting every thing ready for Christmas... Yay!Are you having some fish for Christmas day? My family are having some raw fish, yummy.


For summer learning journey, we are given an activity. For this activity, we are given five sentences about fish. Some of them are true and some of them are not. It is my job to read these ‘facts’, and decide whether they are true or false . 


Cool facts about Fish.

Fish Fact #1: The oldest known fish in the world is a 65 year old Australian lungfish. True

Fish Fact #2: Sharks are the only fish that have eyelids. True

    Congratulations! You have got all the answers correct for this activity. It is great to see how you're using different tools (such as adding images and highlighting words) to illustrate your blog post. I'm having fun reading through your awesome posts.

    Were you able to find out why the false facts are incorrect? Maybe you can find the bits of information to change them into a 'true' statement. For example, a group of fish that swim together are called 'school', not 'classes'. Some of these facts are meant to trick you so watch out!

    I will leave it up to you to tell me about starfish. If they are not a type of fish... What are they?
