Kia Ora and Malo'e lelei! all the way from Otautahi. Our topic for this blog post is, "Cyber-safe". What do we need to do to keep us safe online. I have created a footprint with what you should do to stay smart online and what could happen. I hope you can like it so here it is.
I am a Year 7 student in the Uru Mānuka Cluster. This is a place where I will share my learning. Please note that some of it will not be complete, it will be my first drafts. Remember to be positive, thoughtful and helpful when you leave me a comment.

To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows:
1. Something positive - something you like about what I have shared.
2. Thoughtful - A sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what I had to say
3. Something thoughtful - how have you connected with my learning? Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.

I like the way you try to catch the reader's attention. Did you know that when I was in primary we didn't get to go on the internet or a computer? I know with your generation there is a lot of new technology and internet. The internet has its advantages and disadvantages. Make sure you keep yourself safe by doing what you wrote in your foot print. Keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteHi Talisa,
ReplyDeleteThese are three very important reminders of how to be cybersmart - well done. I particularly like how you have given examples of why these things are important.
Another one to remember is if something happens online that you don't like, don't feel safe about, or you don't know or understand - get an adult you trust to help you out straight away.
You sound like you are very cybersmart already!
Thanks for sharing your DLO!

Hi Laura,
DeleteThank you for taking your time to comment on my blog. I agree that if something happens online that makes me feel unsafe or confuse or don't understand that I can always tell my parents or any adults I trust.
I like sharing DLO.🙂
