ReplyDeleteMy name is Nadia, I'm a year 11 student from Hornby High and I will be commenting on some of your posts for the SLJ 2020! I am doing fine! How are you doing?
Congratulation on another epic post for the SLJ! You clearly have very good maths skills and that shows in this blog post. YES! I think you got that correct. How did you come up with that answer? There are many methods to figuring our simple equations such as this, which one did you use? Next time if you were to do a post like this again, maybe you could create a video tutorial using screencastify or biteable showing how you figured it out. Not only will it help viewers understand how to work it out themselves, it will also help you retain that information, something that will come in very handy once you go to High School or other education. I also think that creating a video will also draw more viewers to you blog. But make sure if you use any images off the internet, credit the author of the photos, to ensure you don't get any copyright claims.
Maybe next time you could also mention what SLJ task you are doing, and describe what the task asks of you. It might be a little confusing for other viewers if they see that you are doing a math problem and there's no explanation as to why. You could write a small blurb explaining what the SLJ is and what the task is and what it asks you to do. It might be confusing for them to see that you mentioned Jessa Rogers and not explain why you included it or why it's relevant to the task.
This is a great blog post, keep up the amazing work
I hope to see a reply or two from you soon!
Until next time
- Nadia :)
