Dear Jacinda Activity 3 Day 1 Week 2 SLJ

Konnichiwa readers,

How are you?

For this activity I will I am about to write a letter to the Prime Minister of New Zealand and sharing it on my blog. I will be writing a letter about something that I think is important.

Here is my letter

Dear Prime Minister,

I think swimming lessons should be free.

The reason why is because some people can not afford the pay and don't get the chance to even swim. So if they went on a boat and dropped into the deep sea or go down into deep water then they could drown and die.

I would appreciate it if you start to build new free swim schools or tell the schools that are already in NZ that they could make it free if they don't agree then you could ask them to make if 50% off.

From Talisa

Thanks for reading this blog post feel free to comment.

  1. Hey Talisa,

    Mikey here. Again. :)

You've written a fantastic letter, Talisa. I really like how you've clearly stated what your letter is about and shared your reasons for why you think swimming lessons should be free. You make a very good point as well - being able to swim is a very important skill to have in a country like New Zealand that is surrounded by water. I also really like how you've proposed an alternative solution if people don't agree to lessons being completely free. Do you like swimming?

Congratulations on another great post. I can't wait to read more soon. :)

    Ka kite ano,

    Mikey
