Do yo know who Rosa Parks is?
She is a American civil rights activist.
One day on a bus she was on it was full. The bus driver told her to get off and give the seat to a white man. She was tired of being told what to do and said no. The bus driver arrested her and many people were mad.
They refused to use the bus while she was behind bars. With many seats empty the city had to do something. The supreme court said it was not legal to treat black people unfairly.
