Namaste readers,
Do you know the story of Maui and the fish?
In drama class we have been making some tableous about maui and fish. We made a tablou with the start, the middle and the ending. I was a group of 6 with Lita, Riley, Delilah, Shontai and Kate.
Tablous
Tablous are like frezze frames. Showing or representing a scene from anything usinhg your facial expressions, physicality and levels.
Start: Maui and his brothers riding the boat
Lita is sitting on the chair which kind of shows she leading the way as the eldest brother. Maui (Shontai) was hiding. I think we were working well as a group and our expressions were't that good. I think to improve we should of acted like we were rowing.
Middle: The boat shaking in the storm.
In this Tableaou were meant show us holding onto the boat hoping not to fall off. Our expressions need some work and it dosen't seem like it's really shaking I think this tabelou needs some work. But I think we would have done better if it showed someone halfway off the boat.
Ending: Brothers stabbing the huge fish which turned out to be a island.
Were using our hands to make it look like were holding a staff/paddle board to stab the fish which looks pretty good. Lita is like the fish were trying to stab and has pretty nice energy.
Our transitions were not that great. We had to think of what tableaous to do at the time we were said to all suddenly. It was quite hard to work as a team like that.
What is a Transition?
A trasition is basically the time we use to change our actions, expressions, etc.
I enjoyed having drama this term and looking forward to next year :) If we have it again
Thanks for visiting my blog feel free to comment.
Ciao
