I am a Year 7 student in the Uru Mānuka Cluster. This is a place where I will share my learning. Please note that some of it will not be complete, it will be my first drafts. Remember to be positive, thoughtful and helpful when you leave me a comment.
In art we have been doing mono prints. We got a bunch of ___colours___ and put it on a _____. Next we used our drawing of the forests placed it on top of the colour palete and traced or coloured our drawings. My monoprint is extreamly messy thou. I need to improve on pressing down more lightly and trying harder to make it nice and clean. (Very sorry for my messineess I promise that momoprints don't usually look like this)
Here is my mono print
Front (from where I traced)
Back (the monoprint)
Thanks for reading this blog post feel free to comment goodbye :)
Put ten drips of universal indicator into the test tube

(Not my picture but similar to what we did)
Disscusion:
1. What is an acid?
An acid is a chemical. It is any substance that in water changes ur taste. For example sour, changes blue litmus paper to red, reacts with some metals to liberate hydrogen, reacts with bases to form salts, and promotes chemical reactions (acid lists).
2. " " a base
3.What happens when you react an acid and a base?
The reaction of an acid and a base is called a neurtalization reaction.
4. How do you measure acid levels?
You measure acid levels with pH. The range goes from 0 - 14 and 7 is the neutral. Anything below 7 is acid and anything above 7 is base.
