Native Insects In New Zealand

Hello Everybody welcome back to my blog,

Do you know know about the amazing Native Insects that live in New Zealand?

For topic we have been leaning about creepy crawly's that live around the world. This week we are now learning about Native Insects that live in New Zealand. We went into groups of two and created a slide and chose 3 native insects.

We had to know where the 3 insects live and 5 facts about each of them.  After me and my buddy Venice finished our slide we were up to the level where we choose one native insect from our slide to paper mach them our make them with clay. Me and Venice chose to make a giraffe weevil with paper mache. We have not finished making it but here is our slide.

Here is the slide me and Venice made

  1. Hello Talisa.
Thank you for sharing facts about insects that walk around our Earth.
I enjoy reading about animals and bugs etc.
WOW! I have just enlarged your post and saw the giraffe weevil. That is one cool yet odd, looking creature.
I am surprised that it doesn't fall over because of it's neck.
What does the giraffe weevil eat? Does it eat the same kind of food as a giraffe?
